The third volume, entitled “Sustainable Approaches for Enhancing Envi­

ronmental Stress Tolerance,” of this 3-volume publication book, therefore,

focuses on the agronomic and biochemical approaches as well as biotechno­

logical and high throughput technologies, including the prospects of genetic

engineering, epigenetics, and the latest CRISPR/Cas technology in gener­

ating stress-tolerant plants. I am sure that this volume will definitely provide

a clear road map with regard to the implementation of different techniques

for improving abiotic stress tolerance in plants for better sustenance.
